A clinician by training, Charlie is Freenome’s Chief Growth Officer, focusing on relationships that will help define the company’s future directions and revenues. Charlie works closely with business development and other teams in building and managing corporate partnerships, and institutional and clinical collaborations.

Prior to co-founding Freenome, Charlie co-founded Yourgene Health (LON:YGEN), which uses circulating cell-free DNA (cfDNA) from maternal blood samples to diagnose chromosomal abnormalities during pregnancy. The resulting in-vitro diagnostic, IONA, is marketed across Europe and the Middle East.

Charlie studied medicine and neuropsychology in the UK, earning a MBChB from University of Dundee, and a Masters degree from Oxford with a focus on immunotherapy. He has worked in some of the UK’s leading oncology centers, including the Royal Marsden.
