As Freenome’s CEO, Mike builds on nearly three decades of experience and a proven record of delivering transformative diagnostic technologies to drive better outcomes for patients. Prior to his role as Freenome’s CEO, he was the company’s Chief Business Officer, where he led corporate and business development, product management, clinical development and operations, program management, and marketing teams.

Mike came to Freenome from Foundation Medicine, where he served as Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations and led a cross-functional team to expand the use of next-generation sequencing technologies in cancer. His career spans global general management and commercial leadership roles for many industry leaders, including Thermo Fisher, Luminex, Roche Molecular Systems, Roche Diagnostics, and Abbott Diagnostics.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Secondary Education, along with an MBA from the University of Wyoming.
